  • Jharna A Festival Dedicated to the Arts | Edition 3

This festival is curated with the objective of providing a platform to emerging artists in Bharatanatyam. Jharna has evolved into a unique platform that showcases the work of emerging artists and celebrates the intrinsic qualities of the art form. Jharna is a one-of-a-kind festival that delves deep into the intrinsic qualities of art and explores the breadth of innovation and creativity. It serves the dual purpose of hosting a live audience to experience the art intimately and simultaneously sharing the art and spirit with a global audience.

  • ​Spirit of Youth Festival of Music & Dance – 2023

Spirit of Youth Festival of Music & Dance is a ten-day festival conducted since 1989 in the memory of noted lyricist Ambujam Krishna. This year, it will be held by the Music Academy Madras from 1st August to 10th August 2023.

  • Jhankriti 2023

World Forum for Art and Culture, the cultural wing of The Art of Living, hosts Jhankriti 2023, a global platform to celebrate traditional arts. As part of the World Culture Festival 2023 organized by The Art of Living, Jhankriti celebrates the four fields of Arts - Gayan (classical/semi-classical vocal), Vadan (instrumental/percussion), Nritya (classical dance forms), and Natya (theatre). Young artists, performers and cultural enthusiasts from around the world to showcase their talents while also being able to interact with Maestros of Indian Arts.


The registrations are open till August 31. The Finale is set to take place in December with the Award ceremony in January next year. The eligible participants would have to range between the age below 12 to 21 years.

  • Finding Your Voice by Anmol Vellani - Toto funds the Arts

Toto Funds the Arts in association with Our Theatre Collective is conducting a four-day workshop on Finding Your Voice by Anmol Vellani. This four-day voice workshop takes the performer, teacher or other to explore and learn about voice production. It would focus on how breathing and the use of the palate, resonators and muscles in the torso influence the quality and fullness of the voice.


This takes place on August 12 & 13 and August 19 & 20, 2023 at Koramangala, Bengaluru.

  • National Conference On Performing Arts And Classical Dance Festival, Hampi

Bharata Nritya Sangeeta Academy, Bangalore, in association with the Department of Performing Arts & Music, Kannada University, Hampi, will be hosting a “National Conference on Performing Arts and Classical Dance Festival (NCPA 2023)”. The conference aims to bring an exchange of knowledge, trends and practical challenges in the industry between researchers and professionals in performing arts like Classical dance, Music, Yoga, Theatre, and Folk performers, Art educators, and students.
