Pepper House Residency - Kochi, Kerala
Run by the Kochi Muzri Biennale, the Pepper House Residency programme is an international residency opportunity for artists from all disciplines to work and collaborate within a studio space situated at the Pepper House, Fort Kochi. Artists are selected for the Residency through open calls, nominations or exchanges resulting in a rich mixture of residents from varied backgrounds and experiences.
Sanskriti Foundation - Delhi
On a mission to revive cultural sensitivity in contemporary times, Sanskriti Foundation, established in 1978, is dedicated to promoting, preserving and presenting the Indian traditional arts and culture, through supporting and nurturing young talents from the fields of arts, crafts and museum through Sanskriti Awards and Fellowships.
IFA
This Foundation Project implemented by IFA under Workshops, Residencies, Seminars, will create a month long dance technical residency aiming to engage with either one choreographer working with an ensemble, or two dance-makers creating solos,
This will be followed by a week-long workshop addressing the role of movement and improvisation in theater and dance, elaborating on the meaning of contemporaneity in dance. Madhushree Basu is the Coordinator for this project.
The residency is scheduled to happen post February 2024 after an open selection process, with either one choreographer working with an ensemble or two dance-makers creating solos. This will be followed by a week-long workshop that will happen in mid-March 2024, with 15 to 20 participants selected through a call for applications.
